Discovery Route

The Mayan Train route in Quintana Roo is a journey through Mayan history and culture.

From El Meco in Cancun to the sanctuary dedicated to Ixchel on Isla Mujeres, tourists will be able to explore El Rey and San Miguelito, home to the Mayan Museum of Cancun with valuable collections.

The route continues towards Paamul II, with its ecoarchaeological corridor and caves, and reaches Tulum, an icon of Mayan magnificence and a point of cosmogonic development.

Archaeological Jewels on the Route

Cobá is presented as a Mayan urban center communicated through the sacbé.

Xel-Há stands out for its commercial importance and artistic conservation, while Muyil and Chacchoben enrich the experience with their history and architecture.
