Key Sections in Chiapas

Chiapas is a crucial region for these railway projects. Currently, two sections of the Interoceanic Train pass through this state: Line FA, which goes from Coatzacoalcos to Palenque, and Line K, which connects Ciudad Ixtepec with Ciudad Hidalgo.

In addition, the Mayan Train also has important sections that cross Chiapas, making this state a strategic point for railway expansion.
