The rail transportation project in the southeastern region of Mexico is looking for a civil engineer with six months to one year of construction experience.

The salary offered working on the Mayan Train is between 15,000 and 20,000 pesos, plus legal benefits such as medical insurance, food vouchers and life insurance, as well as an indefinite-term contract.

The work schedule will be from Monday to Friday from 08:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. and the requirements that you must meet include studies in civil engineering, skills and knowledge in the layout of plans, geometric projects and quantification of earthworks, tolerance to the pressure and availability to travel and live in Quintana Roo.

The deadline to apply is June 14 and the recruitment process consists of an interview with Human Resources and another with the project manager.

Work continues on the Mayan Train, it is contemplated that section 1 will begin with the bearing tests for July of this year, while the operation will begin in December.

The Mayan Train route will cover 40 municipalities in its entirety through the states of Chiapas, Campeche, Tabasco, Yucatán and Quintana Roo, within said route it will have 21 stations in archaeological zones and 41 in different communities.
