A young student from the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco (UJAT) seeks to represent Mexico on the global stage of technological entrepreneurship.
Jesús Alayón Domínguez, a student of Computer Systems Engineering, has been selected to participate in the Startup World Cup competition “A Bordo del Tren Maya”, promoted by the Red Emprende Tabasco.
This event, which will take place between September 16 and 20, will take place on a trip that will begin in Tenosique and end in Cancún, Quintana Roo, providing a unique opportunity for participants.
Alayón will be part of the team of the Startup Caribbean Digital Group, which has stood out for its technological innovations in the tourism sector.
During this tour on the Tren Maya, Alayón and his team will present an NFC (Near Field Communication) project on bracelets, a technology that has revolutionized the hotel industry in the Riviera Maya.

The Startup World Cup event “Aboard the Mayan Train” is more than just an entrepreneurship competition, it is a learning and growth experience for the startups that apply.
