Mayan Train Will Be Promoted Under the Mexico Brand by Sectur
The Mexican government has revealed a comprehensive strategy that seeks to promote the country’s main tourist infrastructures, including the Mexicana de Aviación airline and the Mayan Train.
This campaign, led by the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur), seeks to position the MÉXICO brand both nationally and internationally, encouraging a greater flow of tourists and highlighting the cultural and natural gems that the country offers.
An Agreement that Boosts Tourism
Tourism Secretary Josefina Rodriguez said that this campaign will be developed in conjunction with the Olmeca-Maya-Mexica Airport, Railway, Auxiliary and Related Services Group (GAFSACOMM).
The agreement involves not only the promotion of the new Mexican airline and the Mayan Train, but also the airports, hotels, parks and museums managed by the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena).
The collaboration aims to promote tourism through coordinated efforts that ensure the success of these emblematic projects of the country.
Rodriguez said that the campaign will be visible starting with the WTM fair, which will be held next month in London, one of the most important tourism events in the world.
She also stressed that it is not just a symbolic alliance, but concrete activities such as training, promotions and presence at international tourism fairs, which will strengthen the image of Mexico abroad.

A crucial part of this joint effort is the agreement signed between Sectur and the military group GAFSACOMM, allowing the free and non-exclusive use of the MÉXICO brand.
The head of Tourism stressed that, for the first time, all promotional campaigns will use this unified visual identity, consolidating the perception of the country as an attractive and diverse tourist destination.
In addition to promotion at international fairs, such as FITUR in Madrid, the collaboration seeks to ensure that the Mexican pavilion is one of the most impressive in the spaces dedicated to America, showing the world the cultural wealth of the country.
The alliance between the company Euroamérica and the Union of Secretaries of Tourism of Mexico (Asetur) will also play a key role in this effort, with Sectur providing the necessary support so that every detail lives up to the prestige that is desired to project.
