This measure seeks to guarantee the safety of passengers and staff in the face of the adverse weather conditions expected.
For this date, trains that have the Cancun Airport station as their final destination will stop their journey at the Valladolid station.
In addition to the suspension of services at Cancun Airport, operations at other stations in the north and south of Quintana Roo have also been suspended.
This includes the stations of Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Tulum Airport, and Felipe Carrillo Puerto.
The decision has been made as part of a security protocol that seeks to avoid any risk associated with the arrival of Helene on the coasts of the state of Quintana Roo.

Preliminary Suspension for Prevention
Since yesterday, the Mayan Train had already suspended two of its routes, due to the proximity of the tropical storm.
The first suspension affected the Playa del Carmen – Felipe Carrillo Puerto route, scheduled for 3:00 p.m., while the second was the Carrillo Puerto – Cancún run, scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
Although the storm Helene was still far from the coasts of Mexico at that time, the Maya Train authorities decided to anticipate any danger and prevent the trains from being in the affected areas this Wednesday.
Customer Service Channels and Ticket Adjustments
The Maya Train has established a direct communication channel with affected users to facilitate any changes or adjustments to their travel dates.
Those who already had tickets purchased for the suspended routes can contact the official email info@ventadeboletostrenmaya.com.mx to manage their requests.
The company has reiterated that its main priority is the safety and well-being of passengers.
Preventive Measures to Protect Travelers
The decision to suspend operations of the Maya Train underlines the company’s commitment to the safety of its passengers.
Given the threat of storm Helene, the suspension of services at several stations is a crucial measure to avoid any incidents during the passage of the meteorological phenomenon through Quintana Roo.
All users are advised to stay tuned for future updates on the resumption of train operations on the affected routes.
