Javier May, general director of the National Fund for Tourism Development, reported that 60% of the five viaducts and 108 vehicular, pedestrian, and wildlife crossings have been completed, indicating that the entire project will be inaugurated in December.
During the conference at the National Palace, in the absence of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Adán Augusto López, Secretary of the Interior, assured that the development of the project is progressing smoothly.
Responding to a question about the alleged collapse of pillars in one of the segments in recent days, he stated that displacements may occur during the installation of certain structures, but these problems are resolved quickly.
